Establishing a center in Iraq to rehabilitate and educate young people in an interactive and applied manner, and education methods focus on building mental, emotional, spiritual and economic capacities and rejecting violence and extremism. The curriculum aims to teach youth entrepreneurship skills - financial skills - life skills, personal characteristics, and renounce violence and extremism. Young people can overcome the trauma of war and violence and help them discover opportunities for growth
Challenge
In Iraq, boys and girls are defying the present of war and sectarian violence that has reflected on their reality. They have been deprived of quality educational opportunities and the sense of security that their peers enjoy in different parts of the world. Their lives have been colored by the trauma of war and violence that has affected their psychological and mental health, their ability to thrive, and their economic opportunities. Long-Term Impact
The project will educate more than 5,000 affected youth allowing them to escape poverty, overcome and extremism over trauma and a lack of educational opportunities even in the most stable economic, social and family environments.
