The program establishes an effective learning platforms where youth from underprivileged family can explore the variety of life and discover one's uniqueness. By youth empowerment courses, the youth may exercise participation and pursuit their own dreams. Starting from community service, the youth can gradually gain the sense of connection with their own community and the land they grow and live. The ultimate goal is to cultivate a generation of youth with passion, innovation and social impact!

Challenge

In Taiwan, young people aged 15-24 are considered as one of the most vulnerable clusters of the population, affected by poverty, lack of appropriate education, unemployment, social inequality and environmental degradation. Especially, those youth of underprivileged families; they spend most of their time on maintaining their basic life needs, they tend to lack the opportunities or resources to practice the abilities of thinking and reflecting.

Long-Term Impact

The project launches 20 youth empowerment courses all over Taiwan, with 2,000 young people to be empowered with passion, thinking, and social impact. For next generation, one of the most important ability is to implement one's knowledge in life; and underprivileged youth can have the ability too! From improving their confidence, interpersonal interaction skill and society development skill, underprivileged youth can learn to care those in need and willing to contribute and serve the society.
