Disaster Aid USA has had representative in Poland and is working with Disaster Aid Europe who is on the ground in Slovakia both are in contact with Rotary clubs and Districts in the area. Other Disaster Aid International Countries are answering the call for help also. We will use or local contacts in Ukraine, Poland and other surrounding countries to assess the needs as they unfold. We have tents, water filters, medical supplies, solar lighting, hygiene kits, and other needed supplies

Challenge

The conflict in Ukraine continues to unfold, the country's Military and Citizens are fighting the Russian invasion. Families are facing supply shortages of every kind and many are evacuating to nearby countries for safety, creating a crisis in those countries trying to provide shelter, clean water, food, and medical supplies! So many people now find themselves struggling without basic necessities, and they NEED YOUR HELP!

Long-Term Impact

DAUSA recently paid for half of an ambulance to be used in Ukraine Water Filters and Solar lights are designed to last several years. Ukraine Infrastructure is damaged long-term and these two pieces of aid will fill in those gaps for the families! The Tents if used have been lived in for several years in other locations. As the need progresses DAUSA will use any left over funds for long term recovery projects through local Rotary clubs and churches as we have done on many occasions before.
