Alejandro is an 11-year-old Champ who stands out brilliantly for his academic talent, leadership and musical ability. His dream is to become a famous musician who motivates people to never give up when pursuing a dream. He wants to be an example of the importance of providing opportunities for children through quality education.
Challenge
Many children in Peru see their dreams frustrated because they do not have the opportunity to access a quality education. For Alejandro, this must change, because providing opportunities for children through education is giving Peru the opportunity to grow as a country.
Long-Term Impact
Peru Champs scholarships provide the opportunity for low-income children to become leaders of the future through their high quality elementary and high school education. We work in fifteen cities across the country, a scope that will allow us to generate real change in Peru.
