Apao Sanctuary welcomes cats that have been abandoned, abused or rejected from other shelters for being positive with Feline leukemia or immunodeficiency virus. Many of our cats are old, disabled or with chronic illness requiring lifelong medical treatment. We strive to provide our cats with a safe, comfortable home, giving them the love and care they deserve.

Challenge

Our organization is struggling to make ends meet, with no funding we run solely on private donations. With an ever-growing cat population of over 150, our resources are constantly being stretched to their limits and we're only able to cover the bare essentials such as food and some medicine. We want to provide our cats with the medical attention they require and deserve as well as make the necessary upgrades to our facilities to improve their quality of life.

Long-Term Impact

This project will have a huge impact on the overall health and well-being of the cats living at our sanctuary. It will also allow us to help even more cats, keeping them off the streets and away from danger.
