Poured Out Water Technicians are an integral part to our community connection and involvement - that's why we're asking for your help to continue funding their crucial work! Our current staff of 3 Technicians complete the bulk of our water filtration projects and provide maintenance and education to families. With this project, we're aiming to provide on-the-job training, foster stronger people-management skills, and explore new opportunities to serve new communities via safe clean water access.

Challenge

Poured Out's previous work in Haiti has taught us that there is still much to be achieved in the water and sanitation realms of life. We're looking to explore new opportunities to serve communities of all varieties in Haiti - including constructing latrines, cisterns, and rain water catchment systems, in addition to drilling wells. As the number of Poured Out projects increases, so too does our need for more staff members to implement and maintain these new and exciting projects.

Long-Term Impact

We will be providing essential training to our 3 current Water Technicians to expand the scope of services provided by Poured Out. The training will include serving previously underserved families in Haiti with novel clean water solutions, expanding our projects to meet growing needs, and further professional development for our Technicians. With the expansion of our projects, we also hope to hire and train new Technicians to continue our work.
