This project will provide sponsorships to over 10 children living in poverty in rural Uganda. With the covid19 pandemic effect on house holds, care takers are unable to provide an education to their children. Your help enables these kids grow up to be healthy and confident leaders in their communities. Challenge
Every year, thousands of Ugandan children do not have access to schools or are not able to attend due to high school fees. Without access to an education, children are more vulnerable to the effects of poverty including childhood marriage, teenage pregnancies, inadequate healthcare, malnutrition, and low paying jobs.
Long-Term Impact
We will ensure that 10 children receive a well-rounded and strong education so they can grow up to be knowledgeable and prepared contributors to their communities and our world. Mountains of Hope also knows that no child can be successful on their own. That's why we support the whole community by distributing water filters, healthy food, and other services so that they can support the child all throughout their education. Through the holistic approach, we will create lasting change.
