The project focuses on psychological help for 100 000 Ukrainians. In the situation of military aggression by the Russian Federation and under the pressure of the humanitarian catastrophe taking place in Ukraine, therapists, psychodynamic counselors, crisis and clinic psychologists, and University professors joined efforts to help fellow citizens in this difficult time of war.
Challenge
On the night of February 24, Russia openly launched a full-scale war against Ukraine, attacking Kyiv and several other cities with missiles. The turmoil of the Russian invasion makes people suffer massively. The problem and the question to solve remains is how to return people to care actively for themselves and for the country and to continue fighting with the furious enemy.
Long-Term Impact
We will be able to help 100,000 Ukrainians. Also, early therapeutic aid will help prevent the onset of PTSD. Using our network among therapists and counselors, we will provide even more psychotherapists with the special training to help people in emergencies. In the future, these specialists will help people in the hotbeds of natural disasters in other countries.
