The overall goal in education aims at supporting all children to realize their right to access to quality education. To achieve this, I.A.A supports vulnerable children in basic education with considerable emphasis on the delivery of out-puts targeting needy communities and disadvantaged girls and boys. This will be done largely through the construction of classrooms in schools and supporting vulnerable sponsored children with basic school needs such as books and uniforms.

Challenge

Slums, covering about 5% of Yaounde, provide homes for 3 million Cameroonians, well over half the city's entire population. The major challenges of the slum dwellers include high levels of unemployment, low quality housing, lack of health care, hunger, domestic violence and drug abuse lack of and / or poor educational facilities and educational materials. I.A.A seeks the support of both organizations; individuals to confront the obstacles of poverty, diseases and social alienation of children.

Long-Term Impact

I.A.A will sponsor Early Child hood education, primary and secondary educational opportunities for over 5000 Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable children living in the Cameroonian slums, while empowering communities to implement a holistic Child Rights in accessing quality education School Improvement Program in which quality basic education is available, accessible, acceptable and adaptable to target children. The program will improve conditions for healthy, growth and development of children.
