Who could they become if they were given a chance? Our Children's Home in Bali, Indonesia is at the heart of why we exist. We take in children who have been orphaned, abandoned and rejected and provide them with a loving home where they feel comfortable and safe enough to be just that - children. We have over 60 children in our home. Through our valuable supporters and donors, we provide Food, Shelter, Healthcare, Education, Security and, of course a Family.
Challenge
Tonight in Bali, there will be thousands of children that will sleep out on the street. They don't have food, shelter or support. Tomorrow they will get up and beg all day so that they can eat one meal. These are the children we want to protect. Bali has been hit hard by COVID-19. As Bali has been closed to tourists, millions of people have lost their jobs and cannot provide for their families. This has only amplified the number of children that we now see on the streets. We need your help.
Long-Term Impact
Children are the future. More often than not, poverty in Bali is generational. Unless something is done, these children are born and kept in a cycle of poverty. Bali Life Children's Home grows and empowers each child to become independent, responsible and compassionate citizens. Our Children's Home breaks the cycle of poverty and offers a future of hope for each child. As more and more children graduate from our Children's Home, we can see the positive impact on their local communities.
