The One Million Leaders Africa (OMLA) project is helping to build the movement to put Africa on a new path by 2030 by empowering (through a training in Leadership, Sustainability, Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship) one million credible young leaders who will be proud to be leaders guiding Africa to a better future.

Challenge

The African continent has the youngest population on earth, with an amazing amount of entrepreneurial energy and hope for the future. Business opportunities abound across the continent, but there is however a deficit of sustainability-conscious leaders who can steer the leadership of African countries to maximize these opportunities.

Long-Term Impact

In the long run, the OMLA program aims to create a vibrant network of young leaders who work together to transform Africa. The experience gained as OMLA Fellow, OMLA Star and OMLA Starlet forms the foundation of the OMLA Alumni action.
