Estudio Damgo 9, a group of Architecture students of Foundation University aims to address the current challenges in livelihood and the economy brought about by COVID 19, wherein a majority of the community have lost their means of livelihood due to unemployment. The project will build a processing facility for producing and packing alternative medicine at the same time provide employment and livelihood for people in the locality.


Challenge

The global pandemic caused by COVID 19 has brought about massive unemployment especially in the localities where there is not much employment opportunities. While this crisis is not going to be over soon, people who lost jobs are parents, working students and the like who need a livelihood alternative to support their daily needs.

Long-Term Impact

The project will provide livelihood to the community to be able to provide for their families, many of those who lost their jobs due to the global pandemic. The facility will promote sustainability of the recipient's local resources as well as become an avenue for training on organic wellness and alternative medicine as well as the use of indigenous materials for future structure expansion. Alternative medicine heals pain while balancing other aspects in life like stress, sleep and nutrition.
