The ful-blown and independant women project provides a co-practising space for young computer illeterates women in the southern region of Togo. Through a well designed program, we train young women in computer skills such as coding, office automation and female leadership. More than thousands of young girls have been sensitised on the importance of ICT and good leadership to empower them being active players of a sustainable development.

Challenge

Even with the strong aim of achiering this goal, there are still old days stereothypes and mindset, as well as irresponsible parenting and some traditional values that violate the rights of young women by so reducing the opportunities available for the latters.

Long-Term Impact

Towards a global and more digitalized world today, the knowledge acquired in ICT can only meet the demands on the labor market. Young women supports therefore the decreasing rate of young men in workplaces to economically increase the quality of living of their homes and that of the nation aswhole.
