In this new school year 2021, our entire educational community were hopeful to start the year with the regular program, however, Covid - 19 continues to spread in our territory and we cannot lower our guard. With last year's experience, we know our students families needs better, therefore, we hope to continue support them with the technology tools they need to ensure their connectivity and equal opportunities.

Challenge

More than 95% of the families in our school are still affected by the new situation that we are all experiencing due to the lack of tourism, the main economic activity in our community. It is for this reason families are unable to get the technology needed to be able to take distance classes at home, such as having telephone plans with internet or personal computers.

Long-Term Impact

We are aware that an on distance school is not enough for the learning experience we offer. However, we will do our best to use technology as a good complement in our student's present and future education. In this changing world, our community will be benefit from the new educational tools that technology has to offer, providing boys and girls equal opportunities and new knowledge.
