Join the conservation journey to save the cheetah that is fast becoming extinct in its traditional range and help raise and release 5 cheetah cubs born to mom Philipina at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre. We'll release the cubs at the age of around three years to boost the numbers and genetic diversity of the species to prevent inbreeding and in so doing contribute to saving the cheetah for future generations to cherish.

Challenge

HESC has the know-how and facilities to raise captive-born cheetah cubs to release into the wild, but needs help to finance their care and feeding. Following the Covid pandemic, tourism and our income has dried up, but we still care for our animals. As a result, we now need help to raise and release cheetahs to save the species.

Long-Term Impact

The survival of endangered species is critical in maintaining biodiversity and life on earth. It is crucial for mankind and the future of our children. Sponsoring Philipina's five cubs can made a huge difference to the survival of a species that is fast disappearing off the face of our planet. HESC's cheetahs are highly acclaimed for their pure bloodlines and have been released in reserves throughout southern Africa.
