Training girls in our partner schools in the skill of liquid soap making to empower them with the skill of liquid soap making to improve their standard of living in the future and also use the produced liquid soap for hand washing soap in their schools to enhance their hygiene is the primary purpose of this project.


Challenge

The Covid-19 has affected the lives of many and caused one to adhere to certain lifestyle to prevent the spread of the virus.Measures have been put to prevent the spread of this virus.With washing of hands under running water with soap as one of the protocols.We put into considerations all the measures and decided to train girls in our partner schools on the skill of soap making to empower them to improve their lives in the future and also use the produced soap for hand washing in their schools.

Long-Term Impact

To improve the hygiene of 5,000 School children in 10 needy schools that will help prevent spread of COVID-19 and save funds that parents spend on medication. Improved hygiene will also reduce cases of absenteeism hence improved performance.
