Ensure 60 previously trafficked girls receive the care they deserve. Your investment will provide counseling, case management, emergency shelter and strengthen families so the girls can be reunited into family care. Please help give these girls the opportunity for a future they deserve. Happy holidays and thank you for caring.

Challenge

Bethany Vision runs a transit shelter for children rescued by Nepal government. Since 2016, out of 284 rescued children 274 are restored, an average of 45 per year (66% into biological family, 15% into Kinship and 19% into foster and group homes). UNICEF reports more than 80% children living in institution have at least one living parent. Children can be successfully reintegrated into family and their community with psychosocial, education, legal, counseling and family livelihood support.

Long-Term Impact

The project will empower 60 families to care, protect and ensure rights of children re-integrated by Bethany Vision. This includes they are trained on effective parenting and meeting the physical, legal, health and educational need of children. The families are also educated and empowered to access the incentives available in local government.
