We believe in the power of education and trust the potential of all Peruvians. We want a country where every student has the opportunity to realize their purpose and achieve their dreams. To do this, we work daily inspired by our dream, that is to achieve that by 2032, at least 8 out of 10 children and young people receive an education of excellence.

Challenge

In Peru, only 2 out of 10 rural students performs at grade level (urban students: 3 out of 10), drop-out rates are staggering, and the educational quality to which they can access depends on where they are born and their family income. This limits any dream and access to opportunities. In addition, the educational system lacks good institutional management and continuity in its leading positions. Moreover, being a teacher in Peru is underestimated. This is where the great need meets a talent gap.

Long-Term Impact

Long-term impact: a movement of agents of change that, through collective leadership, transforms education in Peru. Medium term impact: Students' life trajectories transformed to access greater opportunities. Short-term impact: Significant classroom results in academic growth to narrow the achievement gap, and personal growth in identified areas of character building to overcome poverty-driven challenges.
