Descubriendo al Ser is a nonprofit that helps children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). With our project, we want to help 20 Mexican children with low school performance for a full school year. Through free psychopedagogical assessment and customized learning plans, we help students acknowledge and enhance their abilities and virtues. We also want to provide free pedagogical support and continuous psychological care, in order to keep children from vulnerable situations.

Challenge

Children who have had neurological problems or experiences caused by the separation of their parents or death of any of them are in a state of vulnerability that produces them: emotional disorders, low school performance, depression, low self-esteem, negative attitudes, apathy towards other people and their studies. Instead of segregating them in their school groups for being: those who distract, those who scream, etc.

Long-Term Impact

Each child cared for will be an example of overcoming to follow for other children, will be the satisfaction of teachers, they will see reflected the effort of their daily work and of course their parents and family to contemplate the transformation of a "problem child" in an "exemplary child" and productive. Well structured academically, but above all carrying within itself the seed of knowledge.They can aspire to be like other characters: Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jennifer Lawre
