Fostering 5 Pakistani children's books authors to write a children's book each, set in Pakistan, for publishing and distributing for free to children under age 5 to foster reading and give them a technology-free safe space for learning.
Challenge
Young Pakistan children, particularly from struggling areas, have no access to books and most are illiterate. We want to start their process of loving reading as well as give them a technology-free safe space for their imagination to grow.
Long-Term Impact
Pakistani children reading. Fostering a love of reading and learning, as well for the first time (to our knowledge) having Pakistani folklore and children's stories set in Pakistan.
