Since the beginning of PAAJAF Foundation in 2007, our priority has been to provide opportunity to disadvantaged children in Ghana of a better future through education. We proudly see our students taking new steps towards fresh directions in life in each year. Currently we have 145 students enrolled from 2,5 to 9 years of age - who likely wouldn't have access to education and a safe environment to play, with little hope to improve their future.

Challenge

Most children in the Gbawe region (Greater Accra region) cannot go to school due to the lack of public schools in the area and the long distance to reach the ones available. Most parents have poor financial conditions, which is impossible for them to pay for education. PAAJAF is the only option in this area for these children in need of a school.

Long-Term Impact

PAAJAF strives to provide quality education for the children in Ghana, to improve their health and social conditions, increased self-esteem, and increase their sense of belonging within the communities. A better education would provide them wider opportunities and a prosperous and more stable outlook for the future while assuring the progression of upcoming generations.
