AHD adopted solution over El Nino & Climate change on agriculture by small farmers, some 50 farmers selected to implement AHD Model activities of Fuel Efficient Cooking stove, Nadi filter water technology, tree plantation, Kitchen gardening, awareness on health & hygiene, Natural Agriculture program & water conservation through small ponds at village level. within 2 years period AHD enable 50 farmers to live better and reduce the impact of El Nino and Climate Change on these farmers.
Challenge
More than 350,000 people affected by recent floods in Lower Sindh needs urgent support, women & children are most affected from rain water created floods they lost their all, residing in open air or road sides. the project will provide solution to overcome issues on El Nino & Climate change impact on farmers. AHD will provide awareness and skill over AHD Model activities of Nadi filter, Cooking stove, Kitchen Gardening, agricultural crops and water conservation activities
Long-Term Impact
The 50 families will get know how and practical skills to overcome issues of climate change and El Nino on their lives. some 50 farmers will be able to start smart agriculture and climate change related business and entrepreneur at their household level
