Provide education to a girl and give her the ability to transform her life, enter the workforce, and have a voice. $100 (+ GlobalGiving fees) covers the entire education of one girl at a partner institute). Join us in not only educating 1 girl, but 1000! We have just completed 1000 girls in Karachi successfully and 250 in Lahore. Your donation will go toward educating girls in Lahore, Pakistan. We are also working toward girls in Hyderabad, Pakistan as well as Balochistan, Pakistan.

Challenge

Girls 18-24 in need in Lahore from lower middle class backgrounds, or due to losing their homes from bomb blasts, terrorism and feuds, are unable to continue or afford their studies. Some fathers have lost their jobs or if they have limited funds will educate only the sons. There is also a huge market shortage of jobs and discouragement from hiring women for the few spots as men have to support a family. Women in Pakistan are underrepresented in influential jobs.

Long-Term Impact

Educate a girl and she will do the rest. We are amazed to see several alumni in great jobs, others simply open to life's possibilities and starting businesses and employing others.
