Puerto Ricans are at risk of being forgotten as the island recovers from Hurricane Fiona,in the midst of Hurricane Ian devastation in Florida. We have long time partners in Puerto Rico who tell us: "(we)will take all the supplies (you) can send."

Challenge

Hurricane Fiona created a devastating impact on Puerto Ricans, after rampaging the country in September. While Hurricane Fiona was only a Category 1 hurricane when it hit the island, versus Hurricane Maria that hit Puerto Rico in 2017 as a Category 4, the biggest problem now is that the island has not properly recovered from the damage of Maria. The economic losses from this storm will be heightened by the still-existing problems on the island created in 2017.

Long-Term Impact

Jake's Network of Hope has established partners in Puerto Rico who are looking for support in every way we can. With 928,000 households still without power and hundreds of thousands without water a week after Fiona hit, there is great need for support. The total value of this donation including preparation, shipment and products is $5,000. Your gift supports this donation to Puerto Ricans in need.
