This project seeks to provide financial resources to the Casa San Romero Shelter, located in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. In the aim that migrant and refugee people and families receive quality care with a focus on human rights, providing them food, accommodation, medical, psychological, and legal assistance. This will allow them to rebuild their life project.

Challenge

Today it is estimated that there are more than half a million migrants and refugees in Ciudad Juarez. Many of these people have been forced to leave their places of habitual residence due to various situations such as violence, poverty, and disasters. Although various care spaces have emerged, the San Romero shelter promotes comprehensive actions for migrant and refugee individuals and families, guaranteeing their human rights.

Long-Term Impact

In addition to providing the tools and knowledge necessary to rebuild the life project of migrant and refugee individuals and families, they will be accompanied in the asylum application process in Mexico and the United States.
