Curing & preventing blindness in poor Cambodians and their children, can be helped with your donations. Results so far in SE Asia include over 65,000 cataract blind eyes being healed with vision restored. Projects are self sustainable. "HELP US HELP OTHERS,HELP THEMSELVES" uses your kind donations to train & educate local Eye Doctors to treat their own poor people. Challenge

Cambodians underwent an extreme purging in the killing fields of the Khmer Rouge, killing educated people such as Doctors. Young Eye Doctors/Ophthalmologists need help & training to treat their own blind people. THE BLINDNESS FOUNDATION www.blindcure.com has been doing this over the past decade. Our help has provided US technology eg operating room microscopes, supplies eg medicines and lens implants . Poor Cambodians & their children cannot afford modern eyecare & surgery. We can help.

Long-Term Impact

Long term benefits include training young Ophthalmologists outside Cambodia in modern hospitals. These Eye Doctors return to Cambodia to treat their own poor people in a self-sustaining manner. Moreover, they help train the next generation of Cambodian Eye Doctors internally, in a never-ending chain. This covers the whole country , providing sight restoration for every Cambodian in the future. Small donations now have a powerful , magnifying,knock-on impact through the next generations.
