Our halfway house exists to facilitate a healthy transition for men and women who seek recovery from homelessness, addiction, or to reestablish themselves in Brazil as refugees. We serve our residents as a family, offering a safe home base to enable their growth towards dignity and independence. Our team of psychologist, social worker and monitors provide regular and personal accompaniment of each resident as they offer a safe, stable, healthy home environment.

Challenge

No man can make it on his own, and that's why homelessness is cyclical. Our friends arrive from long or short periods of life on the streets, from drug rehab centers, prisons, hospitals, or as refugees from troubled lands. Left to themselves, they have little to no resources to escape the cycle of homelessness.

Long-Term Impact

We have seen our residents reestablish themselves and become a source of strength to their families and neighborhoods. The cycle of homelessness is broken every day by motivated individuals who are determined to renew their story and who receive the necessary support structure. Crescimento Limpo is that support structure, and we exist to ensure that recovery from homelessness is possible.
