Old people in the Philippines belonging to very poor families are often a burden to the family's economic resources. With very little assistance they are prone to a lot of debilitating diseases which could not be attended immediately. There is a need to help them and this project will support 700 elderly so that they find a little happiness in their present condition during this Coronavirus pandemic.


Challenge

Old people in the Philippines belonging to poor families lacks the amenities for healthy living and they are often sick, depressed and confused. A lot of sickness related to old age could not be remedied simply because of a lack of money from the family. There is a need to provide them with life-support as they await their final journey especially during this time with the Coronavirus pandemic.

Long-Term Impact

The families where the elderly lives will be freed from the financial burden of taking care of the elderly. This will help them improve their social and economic situation at the same time making better the life of the elderly.
