The pandemic has put many children in a very delicate situation. These children's recent academic years have been of considerably worse quality, leaving them in a more severe condition of social vulnerability. Mensajeros de la Paz considers it necessary to continue providing primary education to more than 250 students between 5 and 13 years of age in Argentina.

Challenge

The COVID 19 pandemic puts many children in a worse place if they do not access to the Internet or devices such as computers. At least 45% of children in the region do not have Internet access at their homes. This situation is aggravated by the low quality of pre-pandemic education in children, particularly in the cases of children living in poverty who have been marginalized by the system. That is why it is fundamental to teach them in small classes to counteract the problem.

Long-Term Impact

By empowering over 250 children with education, we strengthen their resilience to life challenges, opening doors of opportunities for their future, improving their confidence, and inspiring hope. Improved education opportunities will ensure a better future for these children and subsequent generations.
