SHIPO keeps track of the different needs in the schools and has identified 20 schools which are the most needed ones in terms of School facilities such as Water supply, Latrines, and Dinning all with Kitchens. Therefore, if the schools shall have those facilities, health and performance increase shall improve too. Beneficiaries of the projects are Pupils of 9812 Girls and 6894 Boys as well 160 teachers and 480 orphans. Considering the climate change, Water recharge shall be considered.

Challenge

The most challenge in schools have no enough facilities that may help pupils/children accessing right education, Nutrition and good health. Children are highly affected of not getting their rights. As well as the community have scarce of water due to drought which resulted from climate change. Inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all (SDG 4) is not fulfilled.

Long-Term Impact

SHIPO's project is built on the previously fruitful collaboration built with school communities and LGA authorities during previous years. The stakeholders will receive specific training and support which will help them to better play their institutional role, improving governance, transparency, and accountability of the education system at all levels. Also restorations of the destroyed renewable resources will help to change the world to its nature too.
