Challenge

More than 10 million children in Pakistan are not going to school due to poverty. In the rural and semi urban areas of Punjab Province, it is hard for one third of the children to continue education due to poor economic conditions. Despite having good grades and a passion for education, the children are stopped from going to school or colleges and are forced to work , which leads to the increase in child labor. The situation in Toba Tek Singh city is not different from the rest of Punjab.

Long-Term Impact

1) Hundred Intelligent Students will get a support to continue their education. 2) Child Labor will be discouraged in the communities. 3) Literacy rate will be increased among the communities. 4) Other students will also be encouraged to get selected for the scholarships. 5) Improvement in the socio-economic status of the families.
