While life encountering great changes like natural disasters, death of main breadwinners and major accidents, it normally indicates a sudden and great expense. For vulnerable families, who are already living from hand to mouth, the pressing need of expense becomes the last straw that breaks the family and a heavy burden to them. With the timely "emergency financial aid", providing and assisting vulnerable families to maintain the stability of daily life.

Challenge

Life is unpredictable. For vulnerable families, it takes all efforts to maintain daily life with a place to stay and meals for family, they have only little savings; when a sudden accident occurs, the cost to deal with it is tremendous burden. Like natural disasters, death of main breadwinners and major accidents; without any savings, the vulnerable families cannot even afford the expense for the funeral of a family member, or the expense to repair house, they have nothing left to move on....

Long-Term Impact

In 2022, this service will provide 240 households in accidents to get immediate financial assistance in order to reduce their financial burden and pressure during handling difficult accidents. In 2021, we have accompanied 122 affected families of COVID-19 in Taiwan and 244 households suffered from accidents and natural disasters to restore life and walk stably toward future.
