Our young and highly active young man, a beneficiary of our home, was recently diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome. One of the most crushing results of this diagnosis is that his physical activities will be significantly reduced and limited. That being said, it has been recommended, to help with his significant scoliotic curvature, that he do things that involve raising his arms above his head. You can help us get a monkey bars set as a therapeutic and fun physical outlet for him.

Challenge

In October 2022 a young beneficiary of our organization, Alexander, was diagnosed with Marfan Syndrome. This syndrome has extensive negative impact on the connective tissues in his body. A problem which becomes severely exaggerated during teenage growth spurts (an age which Alex is fast approaching). Urgent and early intervention is required at quite a considerable cost, well beyond the scope of our organization's current budget constraints.

Long-Term Impact

By investing in the early intervention of this life impacting condition you will change the long term forecast for Alex's young life from his life expectancy to quality of life. The immeasurable gravity and impact of your gifts of support are so appreciated by our young active, gentle and fun loving child, Alex, as he continues growing, maturing and striving for his dreams.
