Small philanthropic hospitals outside large capitals are responsible for serving 70% of the Brazil population.. Hacking Health Brazil facilitates knowledge transfer and social impact redistribution from patient safety experts and associations to provide professionals from these small hospitals have to mentoring, training. This 1st phase of the project takes place in the southern region of Brazil with an impact on 200 health professionals and 10,000 patients.

Challenge

70% of hospital procedures that occur in Brazil are performed through philanthropic hospitals. Generally, the philanthropic hospital is a small or medium-sized hospital that has challenges to support itself and access to training, qualification, both to improve the assistance line and the managerial / administrative area is very restricted. The restriction occurs both for budgetary reasons and for access to the appropriate interlocutors.

Long-Term Impact

To provide a very qualified Healthcare Services to vulnerable people, its obviously a safe live strategy, besides best qualified professionals are more efficient on theirs obligations. Health professionals are also university professors who train the next generations of professionals. in addition to generating an immediate impact on patient care, we will also improve the training of future professionals. We aim to reach 600 healthcare professionals, 500 students and 48.000 patients.
