You can help homeless pets receive much needed medical and vet care to save their lives. The pets at Warrick County Animal Control have no funding to help the pets become and stay healthy. Sick animals are euthanized and we want to help them find homes by providing much needed medical and veterinary services with your help.

Challenge

The county provides zero funding of medical or veterinary care for animals at the local animal control facility. Any animal that enters is at risk of life threatening diseases and possible euthaniasia. By providing medical and veterinary care we can help ensure these animals are healthy and make them more desirable to the public for adoption or to rescues to be choosen into their organization.

Long-Term Impact

The long term effects are that more people choose to adopt from the animal control facility in turn helping reduce the total number of euthanized animals. The animals that are going into the public are healthy and spayed and neutered thus NOT adding to the over pet population issue in our community.
