The project aims to address the malnutrition and micro-nutrient deficiencies of poor children with critical illnesses, which are preventing children from achieving good results in treating or even killing children. Every two weeks, the project will donate fresh milk glasses to poor pediatric patients at National Cancel Hospital, Vietnam. In addition, the project will also raise public awareness about nutrition care and spread the values of love and share with vulnerable children.

Challenge

The rate of malnutrition and micro-nutrient deficiencies of Vietnamese children is still quite high compared to other countries in the world. For poor children with critical illnesses, the level of malnutrition and micro-nutrient deficiencies is even more severe due to lack of adequate nutritional care. These children will not respond well to treatment process and their health will be exhausted; they may eventually die.

Long-Term Impact

The project contributes to improving the physical and mental health of children, ensuring children's right to care and survival. When children are provided with proper and adequate nutrition to cope with diseases and restore their health, it will help shorten the treatment process and reduce the cost of treatment. In addition, the project will help spread good values such as love, sharing and responsibility to vulnerable children in the community
