The Dzherelo Centre has been operating in Lviv for over 28 years, taking care of children and young people with severe physical and intellectual disabilities. All children with severe diagnoses need constant care, need hygiene products such as diapers, as well as specific drugs they need to take daily. Because of the ongoing war in Ukraine, it became harder for the families of the children to sustain themselves. Your donations are used to buy the everyday necessities for the impaired children.

Challenge

Ukraine is dealing with a horrifying experience, hostilities are taking place, children and mothers need support. Refugee families with impaired children from the East are also welcome to take shelter at the Centre. It is unknown how long the war in Ukraine will last, for how long families with children can be provided with food and basic necessities, for how long we can supply the impaired children with their medicine. We do not know how many families with children will need asylum in Dzherelo.

Long-Term Impact

The impact on the community will be felt heavily, considering that Ukraine is going through a crisis right now and every supporting hand is welcome. For children with disabilities and their families this project will ease the harshness of living in a war-torn country. The Centre appeals to all people of good will to support the lives of the impaired children Any donation is highly valued. If you are unable to make a donation, please share information about this fundraiser.
