Balajothi Centre For The Disabled proposes to build a residential facility for 150 differently-abled under privileged & orphan children who are generally rejected by the society. This facility intends to provide life time care ,rehabilitation and training to these special children which will enable them to lead a life of dignity and self respect.

Challenge

The continuous increase in number of special children has posed a challenge to society to provide permanent respite care to severely disabled children. These children are in dire need of life-time care and support without which they will surely perish. Most of the families are economically backward and lack the resources required to provide the right care for a special child. It is unfortunate and inhuman that most of these children are kept locked up in their homes and lead miserable lives.

Long-Term Impact

This residential facility shall provide much relief to families as they will be assured of a safe abode to these children. The atmosphere and system specially designed in this facility would give an opportunity to these differently abled children to experience freedom and live the rest of their lives in happiness. This also answers the most frequently asked question of 'what happens after me' by many a deeply anguished parent of such disabled children.
