Innocent Ukrainians are dying and suffering every day from Russia's barbaric actions - they are ruthlessly shelling our homes, kindergartens, hospitals and even maternity wards. Russian forces have no pity for children, pregnant women or the elderly. But despite the fear of death, Ukrainians continue to help each other. Doctors and medical staff are forced to live in their workplace. In addition to the wounded, there are also non-transportable patients in medical institutions.

Challenge

After the start of the war, the foundation created the project "HELP UKRAINE! STOP WAR!" which already provides humanitarian assistance to children, medical institutions, wounded and civilians affected by hostilities in Ukraine. Through the war in Ukraine 6 million Ukrainians need medical care. Doctors remain in their understaffed offices and work overtime. In addition to the wounded, there are also non-transportable patients in medical institutions.

Long-Term Impact

At the moment, 21 hospitals from 5 regions of Ukraine have applied to our charitable foundation for help: Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv. And requests for help from hospitals continue to arrive. We estimate that there are more than 4,000 patients in these hospitals on an ongoing basis. Apart from the injured, there are also non-transportable patients, pregnant and postpartum women.
