While 38% of Latin American women are in charge of providing their homes' main income for their families, in Venezuela is approximately 40%.Jovenes Emprend. plans to provide financial education, business knowledge and entrepreneurship abilities to 800 women located in low income surroundings, as well as an initial seed capital will be provided by an allied bank for them to initiate their businesses improving their communities and their families'quality of life. Challenge
40% of the Venezuela's households are women, who have to provide income for their families sustainability. Many of these women count on work skills or abilities which might be used to provide funding for their livelihood but do not know the basic financial and/or negotiation tools to put their know-how to work as productive businesses. Should these women be trained adequately, 800 households would be prepared to overcome poverty, providing their homes income, creating jobs for their communities.
Long-Term Impact
Junior Achievement Venezuela plans to provide financial education, business knowledge and entrepreneurship abilities to 800 women located in low income municipalities, as well as the link for initial seed capital provided by an allied bank for them to initiate their businesses thus improving their communities and their quality of life. Direct population: 800 women. Indirect 3200 directly dependable from them. Community improvement: at least 100 new small product or services small entrepreneurs.
