The school- year is coming to an end in Argentina, and the time has come to celebrate our achievements; to give and receive, and to share with those who we love and those who need it the most. It's now time to celebrate! This year, we will be preparing boxes with food, gifts and Christmas decorations to be distributed among our students' families. We want Christmas to be different; we want all families to be able to share a nice meal, and we want all children to receive a present.
Challenge
Most of the students that go to Educar y Crecer educational centers, do not have the opportunity to enjoy a Christmas celebration. Most families rely on charities to access food and claim that their income is not enough to afford Christmas gifts.
Long-Term Impact
Helping families with their daily problems help us strengthen the bond with the community and ensure that families will enroll their children in our after-school Student Learing Centers to enhance their reading and writing abilities.
