Far too many of us still struggle to even say the word suicide out loud. Too often, the truth of how we feel remains locked up inside of us. But staying silent costs lives, every single day. We can stop suicide, if we can break the silence.

Challenge

Someone in the UK dies by suicide every 90 minutes. This has to change. Suicide can be prevented, and talking to Samaritans can help people find a way through their pain. It's time for all of us to break the silence about our struggles with mental health, and especially with suicidal feelings. Because silence costs lives.

Long-Term Impact

Suicide can be prevented, and talking to Samaritans about suicidal feelings can stop it. Donate now to keep Samaritans here for people to talk to this winter. Your gift could save lives this winter. With your support, we can answer more calls for help.
