We seek to drive change on a life of every marginalized women. Our focus on women empowerment unlocks possibility on the individual and communal level; our work of local fundraising and grant making is challenging, but we know we can get there. We cannot succeed alone, but together we can work for a COUNTRY-NEPAL where all can thrive.

Challenge

The local fundraising in developing countries like Nepal is very challenging. People believe donating for spiritual purpose rather than donating is some women organizations. Hence to meet the target of our grant making amount of the year we do local fund raising, which is always challenging for us as we are only limited to capitalize the niche market i.e. within the valley. We have introduced the concept of "Matching Fund" from 2014/15 which has encouraged us to give a sizable amount for grant.

Long-Term Impact

We will continue our work and always push women to move ahead through disbursing grants, capacity enhance (networking and peer learning) programmes by spreading the message and importance of community philanthropy especially for women group. Hence donations received will fund for our regular grant making for multiple issues.
