This project is a personable way of donating to a specific cause that you care for. Our goal is to direct our efforts to improve lives by focusing on specific areas of every beneficiaries life. From basic needs, to education, health and human rights, this is a space where donors can follow up and receive reports about the progress. The donor can choose one of the sub-projects to make a donation to an individual or donate to this parent-project and Dufatanye will find a suitable beneficiary.
Challenge
Many people in Rwanda suffer from different problems. Health, issues like AIDS/ HIV, paying for a doctor, insurance and mental problems, the lack of education and means to pay for school fees, books and supplies, food security and access to clean water, outdated family structures that normalize violence and abuse, to social discrimination, are just a few of the challenges they face.
Long-Term Impact
Finding solutions for individuals means finding solutions for the entire community. By decreasing health-related issues, increasing literacy rate and making sure everyone has enough food and water, we aim to relieve the communities, which will result in more time, energy and money to develop, rather than maintain the current living standards. By creating a system that directly connects donors with beneficiaries, we create a more human way of helping and gives these people a voice and a face.
