With the 'We will guide them and they will guide the future' motto, CYDD supports university students who are able to enter universities despite their limited resources. University students from both genders are supported with monthly scholarships. The aim is to bring positive developments to education, to provide equality in education and to support the students to have a comprehensive education by the time they start their careers.

Challenge

Students from disadvantaged families that can succeed to enter universities are faced with financial difficulties. They can rarely go to a university in their hometown and most have to study in larger cities where living and lodging is costly. If they are lucky, they can lodge in government dorms near the universities which are relatively cheaper but facilities are not enough to accommodate all. Rents are high in large cities as well as food. Books are also a great expense for them.

Long-Term Impact

All over Turkey we bring light with our scholarship projects to youth who belong to socio-economically disadvantaged groups by giving them the opportunity to an equal education, quality education and most importantly the ability to guide the country's future with their education. The girls who priorly receive high school scholarships from CYDD are given priority scholarships if they can continue on to university . This enables more young women to have careers and be independent.
