Under the health care program, HOPE foundation focuses on providing a safe abode to disadvantaged children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, children abandoned by one or both parents, street children and children who have been abused and belong to poor socio-economic conditions. Currently HOPE foundation takes care of 65 children in 3 homes in South India (Acharapakkam 100 kms., from Chennai, Trichy & Tirunelveli).


Challenge

Hunger primarily affects the most disadvantaged children, but of all orphans are the most vulnerable. They fall victim to hunger-related illnesses and thus fail to develop mentally and physically. Besides , the COVID-19 pandemic has also disproportionately hit the underprivileged and orphan children in India. The health of these children has come at risk. They need food, clean clothing, as well as access to education which will help them improve their chances of growing up a contributing adults.

Long-Term Impact

Prolong life span Get to live a dignified respectful life. Get educated and stand on their feet. Become independent and earn a living for themselves and Get settled in the general community.
