Malhan Area is located on the west of Almahweet governorate in the Republic of Yemen. It was declared as a protected area due to its variety of fauna & flora ,its density of plant and ager trees, its endangered animals like Arabian leopards, and its rare birds. It has very strange and glamour land scape.

Describe the site: Malhan Area is located on the west of Almahweet governorate in republic of Yemen and it declared as reserve according to the variety the fauna & flora , whereas the density of plant and ager trees and numerous of the threated animals as Arabian Tiger and rare Birds, also it has very strange and glamour land scape.
Long-Term Impact
Security through the database that will be accessed and used in preparing future studies and special plans that will contribute to the management of the reserve as well as setting an environmental record that helps implement a monitoring and environmental management plan for a long-term period. It will also contribute to raising the level of awareness among local communities about protecting wildlife Which will have a future effect in the long run.
