The terrible war is ongoing in Ukraine. Russian invaders bomb cities, hospitals, houses, killing civilians without remorse. Ukrainian kids with cancer and other serious diagnoses are more vulnerable than most in such a situation. They need medicines, medical supplies, food to survive in Ukraine and transportation when evacuation is possible.
Challenge
The war started when Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 is not only taking the lives of civilians. It takes away the opportunity for children with cancer and other serious diagnoses to receive treatment and survive.
Long-Term Impact
Our ultimate goal is to provide children in Ukraine with the best medical assistance possible in war time and thus to increase their chances for survival and quality of life after the disease.
