We invite you to contribute to a humanitarian opportunity that aims to train and educate 100 students working in the health sector in North of Syria, which would make a qualitative leap in developing the health vocational education systems in the most volatile and collapsing part of the world and help in saving more lives in Syria.

Challenge

The systematic targeting of health facilities in northern Syria have reduced the medical coverage for the displaced community of the most marginalized and vulnerable populations residing in camps. So far, we have lost nearly 1,000 health care providers, including nurses, paramedics, doctors and technicians, and losing them means losing more lives that can be saved. Only 10% of health workers were able to return to work and build their medical capabilities.

Long-Term Impact

Our campaign aims to provide a specialized health professional training diploma for 100 students in pediatric nursing, neonatal intensive care, and adult intensive care. This will qualify more staff and reduce the pressure imposed on the current workers, thus ensuring comprehensive health coverage and building a sustainable health system subject to governance standards.
