Our Adult Care Essentials program provides adult incontinence needs to enable aging populations to fully participate in life again. Adults in need of incontinence supplies who struggle to afford these items will suffer in silence. Many will stay home to avoid embarrassment. When we provide comfortable, effective protection older adults can be a part of their community once again.

Challenge

Adults in need of incontinence supplies who struggle to afford these items will suffer in silence. Many will stay home to avoid embarrassment. The facts are: 1 in 3 adults are dealing with some form of bladder control issues today; 2 in 3 people will have incontinence during their lifetimes; and the vast majority of people will know someone, if not themselves, who have incontinence.

Long-Term Impact

We know alleviating the financial burden of basic hygiene supplies creates room for people to afford more basic needs. Providing hygiene items therefore becomes an essential tool in empowering people to live clean, healthy and active lives and make a big difference toward the movement to end poverty.
